With the 2026 iPride Gay Softball World Series later this summer, Columbus will be the first city to host the event four times. The last time Columbus hosted in 2021, some 230 teams from nearly 50 North American cities traveled to the city for the five-day tournament, leaving an economic impact of more than $12 million to the local economy and driving good returns on the investment of local and national partners. Since then, iPride has grown to nearly 60 member cities, and interest in Columbus as a destination is at an all time high.
