BERLINER PARK

Berliner Sports Park is the historic first home of the Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association, home to a record four Gay Softball World Series, and the largest single softball complex in America.

Conveniently located just south of Downtown Columbus, Berliner is less than 20 minutes from John Glenn International Airport and 15 minutes from the host hotels, various GSWS venues and partnering restaurants, bars, and businesses. Lou Berliner Sports Park is located at 325 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed in the park, but must be leashed or under direct control of their owner. You must clean up after your pets and pets are never allowed on playing fields.

Can I smoke or vape at Berliner?

Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco products are prohibited within the spectator and playing areas and in all fenced complexes within the park. Designated smoking areas are available outside of the fenced complexes.

Can we camp out at Berliner overnight?

No, camping and overnight parking is prohibited in the park.

Will there be parking fees at Berliner for GSWS?

No, parking at Berliner will be free, but note that there is limited space available near some fields and carpooling is recommended.

Will there be a shuttle making rounds at Berliner this year?

Yes, there will be a shuttle service connecting areas of the park.

Are there concessions at Berliner?

Yes, there are several fully-equipped concession stands at Berliner.

Can I bring in alcohol, beer or seltzers?

No, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. However, organizers do have a permit for several points of sale for alcoholic beverages around the park, so alcohol will be available throughout the week.

Can I bring in coolers?

Yes, coolers are allowed. But no alcohol.

Can I bring in food?

Yes, you can bring in food. There are also plenty of concession options available throughout the park.

Can I bring my seeds or gum?

Seeds and gum are not allowed at Berliner in order to protect the turf.

Are there bathrooms?

Yes, there are several permanent and temporary bathrooms available throughout the park.

Will water be provided?

Each player will receive a custom 2026 GSWS branded water bottle. Several filling stations will be available throughout the park for the week.
