WHERE CONNECTION, COMFORT, AND CONFIDENCE BEGIN
YOUR GUIDES, YOUR HOME COLUMBUS
About CLGSA
40 YEARS OF PRIDE
Since 1986, the Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association (CLGSA) has been more than just a league. It’s been a home, a place where friendships are formed, community is built, and players find belonging. Over the years, CLGSA has provided thousands of LGBTQIA+ and allied athletes, coaches, fans and supporters a place to be themselves both on and off the field.
CLGSA is an open-division softball league which offers spring and fall seasons to hundreds of players with all levels of skill and experience, as well as numerous opportunities to socialize, compete and give back to the community. For more than 30 years, CLGSA has sponsored Bat-N-Rouge, a charity drag softball game that has become the league’s largest fundraiser–and the only official event during the Sunday of Columbus Pride Weekend. This event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit organizations and minimized player costs so that everyone regardless of income can play the game of softball.
CLGSA is proud to welcome the 2026 iPride Gay Softball World Series back to Columbus for a fourth time, and we hope you have a great time in our city. For more information on CLGSA, our league, or how to get involved, please visit www.clgsa.org.
